"I have always worked to better my community through leadership positions or volunteer opportunities, whether at home or at The George Washington University.  After participating in organizations such as Class Council and Student Council since fourth grade, I have found that I have the skills and passion to improve the life, safety, voice, and access to resources for students here at GWU.  Over the past year, I have grown to see GWU as my home.  I want to use my strengths and motivation to serve the creative and well-rounded Colonials.  With the support of groups such as the College Democrats and the International Affairs Society, I know I can use my desire to give back to GWU as Elliott School Undergraduate Senator in the Student Association."

Paul Asercion

Top Priorities: Elliot School advising, especially related to operating hours.

"Nearly every day at GW, I hear about something that is wrong with this university. I hear these complaints from friends, students, and even faculty. Whether the complaints may be about specific or general issues, there should be an efficient way for students to get answers to their questions and to be able accomplish their goals. I believe that if you really want change, then you must be actively involved in creating that change. This is why I’m running for the position of ESIA Senator because I want student life to change for the better here at GW."
