On Wednesday, March 20th and Thursday March 21st GW students will be voting for representatives in the Student Association, Marvin Center Governing Board, and Programming Board. This article is part of a series WRGW News is conducting giving an overview of the competitive races.
One of the competitive races is the Undergraduate School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). In this race three candidates are running for one seat. WRGW News encourages you to look at the candidates' websites for more information.
Neil Forquer
Year: 2014, Civil Engineering
Top Priorities: Making sure SEAS student organizations are prepared for SA Financial allocations and creating a program that helps engineering students deal and cope with stress and problems specific to SEAS
"I see this position as a way of giving back to SEAS and GWU as a whole. With that being said, I make it my personal goal to ensure that engineering student orgs have everything they need from the SA for events, and that they are prepared for the allocations process during that specific time of the year. Also, I see this spot as being an ambassadorship for SEAS to the other schools in the University. Over the course of the past year, I've enjoyed meeting new people in the SA and working with them as a way of bridging the gap between SEAS and the other schools."
